During April, Manitoba’s Education Minister, Kelvin Goertzen announced a $57.5 million investment in 59 projects for K-12 schools across the province. He indicated that completion was expected within a few years.
Mechanical system replacements will total $17 million. Other key categories include roof improvements, structural work and accessibility upgrades.
Winnipeg’s Sisler High School and MacKenzie Middle School in Dauphin were specifically mentioned as being slated for major projects.
