Governments, regulators, utilities – and of course building owners and homeowners – are all looking for industry leadership to help transition buildings towards a low carbon economy.
HRAI understands that HVAC contractors and their employees don’t necessarily see themselves as frontline “low carbon” solution providers, and that there are important obstacles affecting the ability of contractors to broaden their service offerings.
With funding from The Atmospheric Fund (TAF), HRAI is conducting research to discover the existing challenges that HVACR professionals face in expanding their service offerings beyond traditional heating and cooling products to significantly aid in the reduction of Canadian carbon emissions.
Some HRAI contractor members will be invited to complete a 20 minute survey to participate in this essential research via email in the coming week.
