This month we want to draw your attention to several scholarships that are available to the employees of MCA Saskatchewan members.
MCAS is pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship once again at the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Apprenticeship Awards based on the highest mark in either the Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Refrigeration, and Pipefitting trades.
Recipients are selected based on the criteria established by the Association for outstanding achievement in training and certification. To apply the candidate must be employed by an MCAS member and have successfully completed the 4th level of the Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Refrigeration, or Steamfitter/ Pipefitter trade program from September to June of the current year. As well, MCA Canada has launched their Richard McKeagan Scholarship Series. The Scholarship Series targets the mechanical field of study and has been broadened to include several new initiatives, including scholarships specifically for women in the mechanical field. This is in addition to the several scholarships available for financial assistance in the mechanical field of study.
