SPOTLIGHT ON BENEFITS

April 4, 2023

For the second straight year I am happy to announce that the MCAS employee benefits program through Saskatchewan Blue Cross is renewing with no rate changes!

But there’s more good news yet! We are happy to announce that Online Doctors by Maple has been added to the plan at no additional cost. This enables employees and family members to meet with a doctor virtually from the comfort of home for medical advice, diagnoses, and even prescriptions and lab referrals (some conditions apply). Given the shortage of family physicians in Saskatchewan, and the typically long wait times in clinics and hospitals, it’s easy to understand why this benefit is valued so highly! We’re confident that this benefit will be well-received by MCAS members.

The war on talent in today’s labour market is forcing employers to adapt their benefit programs to help them stand out and attract and retain top talent. Flexibility in these programs is key, and the MCAS benefits program delivers. We are here to find the best solution to fit your individual needs and most importantly, your budget.
