OPBA has launched the Public Procurement Benchmarking Survey, a new sector-wide initiative open to all public agencies — both members and non-members.
This survey will establish consistent, comparable data to help strengthen procurement practices across the public sector.
What We’re Measuring
The survey gathers information on:
- Procurement structures and staffing models
- RFx processes and governance practices
- Technology platforms and tools in use
- Performance metrics and modernization efforts
Results will be analyzed and published in the OPBA Public Procurement Benchmarking Report — a centralized sector resource available free to OPBA members and available for purchase by the broader public sector upon release.
Why Participate?
Your agency’s participation will help build a trusted benchmarking resource to support:
- Policy and process improvement
- Staffing and resourcing discussions
- Performance benchmarking
- Modernization planning
Important Details
- One response per public agency (may be completed individually or collaboratively)
- Estimated completion time: 20–30 minutes
- Survey closes: March 12, 2026
If you cannot complete the survey in one sitting, your progress will be saved.
Participant Thank-You
Each participating agency will be entered into a draw to receive:
- Unlimited registrations for one Coffee with Counsel, and
- Unlimited registrations for one OPBA Ignite Pro-D session (all staff must attend the same selected sessions)
