The 2015 editions of the National Building Code (NBC) and National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) were adopted in the Province of Saskatchewan by the Provincial Regulation.
The effective dates for these adopted codes are provided in the below table:

HRAI Members in Saskatchewan should be aware that as of January 1, 2018, the new requirements of the NBC 2015 (except its Section 9.36) have been in effect.
HRAI encourages Members to review NBC 2015 Section 9.36 and NECB 2015, and get acquainted with these new code requirements, which will be in effect January 1, 2019.
