HRAI is informing all Ontario Members of an online consultation process with the Ontario College of Trades on Bill 70 Amendments. With the passage of recent legislative amendments to the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, OCOT is seeking feedback on the following topics:
A) Journeyperson to Apprentice Ratios
B) Compliance and Enforcement Policy
C) Trade Classification Review Referrals
D) Program Evaluation Process
HRAI’s Members in Ontario are encouraged to complete as many questions as possible to ensure the data is reflective of on-the-ground realities in particular sectors, trades, regions, etc. All personal and demographic information provided will be protected under the College’s Privacy Policy.
Your response(s) will inform OCOT of changes to the College’s regulatory and policy framework, and will help the College better regulate the trades in the public interest.
