SaskEnergy is once again offering the Residential Equipment Replacement Rebate program to Saskatchewan homeowners. These rebates are offered exclusively through participating SaskEnergy Residential Network Members and target the residential replacement market. The program is designed to encourage homeowners to choose the most energy efficient equipment available to maximize their energy and cost savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Rebates of up to $2,000 are available to customers who invest in qualifying high-efficiency furnaces, boilers, water heaters and heat recovery ventilators. More program details are available on saskenergy.com.

This program is a strong complement to the commercial energy efficiency programs offered by SaskEnergy. The Commercial Boiler Rebate, in market since 2006, has been providing commercial building owners a reason to upgrade to condensing boilers. For boiler plants 400 MBH and greater, rebates start at $4,000 going up at $10/MBH. The Commercial Space and Water Heating Rebate is designed to encourage the use of energy efficient natural gas furnaces, boilers (less than 400 MBH), condensing water heaters, tankless water heaters and infrared tube heaters. Together, in 2020-21, these programs provided more than $1.8 million in rebates to help customers reduce utility costs and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
