Every year the OPBA reaches out to our membership asking how you plan to celebrate March – Procurement Month. We have decided to turn this contest into an annual event!
Let’s celebrate a procurement colleague.
We want to hear from you about a colleague who works in procurement, either in your agency or another, who has been invaluable to you in one of the following ways:
- A procurement mentor
- A superstar procurement newbie
- A workplace culture hero in procurement
- A helpful friend on OPBA member connect
Perhaps your candidate checks more than one of these boxes!
WHAT YOU COULD WIN
- The winning candidate will receive free registration to our 2023* conference and will be featured in the OPBAs Caveat E-News!
- The nominator will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.**
SUBMISSIONS
Here is what we need from you.
1. Who are you Nominating (name, title and agency)?
2. What category (or categories) do they fulfill?
- A procurement mentor
- A superstar newbie in procurement
- A workplace culture hero in procurement
- A helpful friend on OPBA member connect
3. What does this person do that makes them amazing? How do they fulfill the category you’ve nominated them for? How do they positively impact your work life?
Please email your submission to info@opba.ca, with the title March is Procurement Month.
Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2023. The winning submission will be selected by a draw on March 6th and the winners will be contacted directly.
Fine Print: *No substitutions. The free registration must be used for the 2023 conference. If the winning candidate cannot attend the 2023 conference, the free registration may be given to a colleague upon notice to OPBA. **Nominators may only nominate one colleague each. Nominators must first confirm their candidate’s consent to have their information shared in our Caveat Emptor publication.
