Last month, we announced the OPBA Mentorship Program—a great opportunity for both seasoned professionals and newer members of the public procurement field to connect, share insights, and develop professionally. This program is designed to foster networking, provide valuable guidance, and support growth for mentors and mentees alike.
The Membership Committee, formed in early 2024, spent months developing a mentorship model to best meet the needs of OPBA members. This program offers mentees guidance at all career stages and seeks experienced mentors to share their knowledge across various topics. We believe this program will support your career development and exceed your expectations.
The OPBA Mentorship Program will officially launch in January 2025. We are seeking mentors who can commit to a 3–4 month period, participating in 4–5 mentoring sessions with their mentee(s). We are currently seeking mentors who can commit to a 3- to 4-month period, during which they’ll engage in 4 to 5 mentoring sessions with their mentee(s). After this period, mentors and mentees are welcome to decide independently if they’d like to continue their mentoring relationship outside of the program.
Whether you’re looking to grow as a mentee or share your expertise as a mentor, the mentorship program offers a rewarding opportunity to develop and shape the future of public procurement.
