Are you an experienced public procurement professional looking for a new challenge this year—one where you can share your expertise and help shape the next generation of procurement leaders? If so, read on!
OPBA is seeking passionate professionals to join our growing roster of skilled instructors as we expand our educational offerings.
We’re looking for professionals who:
- Have at least ten (10) years’ experience in a senior public procurement role
- Are comfortable delivering content virtually (experience in public speaking or training is an asset)
- Can commit approximately two (2) hours per week over a four-week period to evaluate assignments and respond to occasional participant questions
- Are available to instruct live Zoom sessions (2–4 hours) during the daytime, evenings, and occasionally weekends. Sessions typically start between 9:00 a.m. ET and 6:00 p.m. ET, and may run as late as 9:30 p.m. ET, usually once per month
- Are familiar with Zoom—or willing to learn—including managing chat and breakout rooms
- Are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect OPBA’s intellectual property
Nice to have:
- CPPB or CPPO, NIGP-CPP, CSCMP, or a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with the Brightspace learning management system, or a willingness to learn

Applicants will receive an update by email no later than Wednesday, February 18. Please note that next steps include three (3) volunteer instructor shadowing sessions. Following this, the role becomes a paid, per-course position, with opportunities to instruct approximately four (4) to eight (8) courses annually.
